Expanding on my previous topic of Greenpeace lying to garner support, former Greenpeace leader Gerd Leipold admitted on television that Greenpeace lied about how fast the arctic ice caps are melting.
This was on BBC television mind you, not FOX or some other organization rumored to be anti-environmental.
I took special notice when Leipold referred to Greenpeace as using “pressure” and "emotionalizing" information, while the BBC reporter corrected him by saying Greenpeace was using "scare tactics." That hit the issue on the nose. Does Greenpeace really believe that their recruitment method is merely using “pressure?”
In regards to recruitment, Greenpeace needs to realize what pressure is as opposed to harassment. Pressure is trying to get someone on the street to sign a petition; harassment is following them and calling them names if they refuse.
